kids had a good time.

we had a sheep dog, a football player, a cowgirl, and a cowboy.

I was a cowgirl too. Lol. I had a horse thing before so I just wore the same thing

funny thing.....for 3 out of the 4, that is mostly everyday wear........lol

Yeah it is. I really just put a hat and chaps on to go out.

NO trick or treaters - . But this is the way things have been going for many years, Houses are too far apart and kids don't remember that legs are made for walking. Parents drive them to the affluent neighborhoods , and many towns have a Halloween party to keep kids out of trouble.

We didn't have any trick or treaters either but haven't for at least a few years since my friends all grew up and/or moved/also since we got the dog LOL

but even when i had friends in the neighborhood, no one ever really came to our house, the only people who did were one or two friends and I went to their house too or we trick or treated together LOL

Our house is surrounded by condos/townhouses and regular houses behind us but we're set back in the woods on almost 3 acres and the driveway is pretty long so I think people are scared to walk down it/don't know there's a house LOL the patch through the woods isn't even that long but ya know. I always thought we should try decorating it then people might come down. But most of the neighborhood kids are too old now anyway.

Plus with all the development, it's much easier to walk there and you can get TONS of candy so why go to one lone house in the woods? Lol

Idk if my brother got any or not, he's in a regular but smaller neighborhood

We have never had trick or treaters.... Live on a dead end private road in the middle of nowhere.
But i have dollar bills ready every year. Only ever had to give a few out.... And a can of pop or two over the past 34 years.
