BYC Café

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Scott. Well done by your grand daughter. Hi, Wiggles, bet the dogs were glad to see you. Took the pugs home to our daughter's, and I swear they were smiling, but not as much as me.

Good Morning everybody! Hope everyone survived the Thanksgiving holiday. Scott, good thing you had theBB gun. I have only seen the coons on the side of the road. They are very dead and for some reason the last couple of weeks there seems to be an inordinate amount on the side of the road.

I have returned from my five days of feasting extravaganza. We had a great time, got a bunch of our shopping done, went to the outlet mall in Kenosha (on Black Friday -NEVER AGAIN), and met my DDs boyfriend's parents.

The dogs are happy to be home from "jail" and have taken up residence on the couch. Dad made them special bones last night, which might have helped.

Today, the cookie baking begins! And DH bought my Christmas gift and I don't even have to wait until Christmas to use it!

Good Morning Wiggles,

It's good to hear all went well with your five days of feasting! That is a nice looking present you got there.
The only thing I do on Black Friday is go to the feed mill by the back road and back home again.
Have fun with the cookies!

Morning! Nice present Wiggles and Scott, very glad that they were ousted before anything was killed. That was a close call. Sounds like everyone is getting back into the normal routine. Sour is smiling and all is well......
The wind has died down to a normal range as well. Thanks for the coffee!

Good Morning Sir Sour,

It is good to see you still smiling. DGD is still a bit full of herself over seeing the 'coons in time to help stop them, and even more over me telling her that it is time her and the Grandson learned to shoot my BB pistol.

Glad to see that you had a good trip and all is well with you and yours. I still hope that they got ran off down the creek and don't come back, no bets on it.
Yes Sir Sour is still smiling, been 3 days now, started on Saturday with him just thinking 'this is the last day with them Pugs'

LOL our dog was ecstatic to be out of jail too! And on his best behavior to avoid going back :p

We dropped him off Tuesday morning at 8am and picked him up Saturday at around 3:30 in the afternoon so I kind of a long time for the poor fella but no worse for the wear lol

I stayed in the car but supposedly he ran 3 laps around my brother then just sat down in front of him and planted, he likes to he hugged lol then my brother lifted him in the car but he almost didn't need to, I'm sure he would have ran in to see us. It was my 2 brothers, me, and one's girlfriend, his GF and I stayed in the car, so Gator refused to stay in the back and ran up to see us and then proceeded to plant himself right in the middle between the two seats (it's a Suburban so captain's chairs in the backseat) and then just laid there. At first he was a little crazy then settled in but then he was torn between laying down and sitting up to see out the windshield LOL

Then when he got home the first thing he did was jump on the bed and sleep for hours LOL

It has been a busy and mildly stressful evening here. Mid-way through chores My dear Granddaughter starts yelling bloody-blue-murder about something in one of my back bird pens.
I get there and find out it's at least 2 'coons (she says 4) one was in the pen and the other was coming around the far side.
I only had my trusty C02 BB squirrel pistol on me, several BB's later both 'coons have ran away into the woods.
Filled in the low spot under the chain-link fencing with brick and I am leaving the backyard lights on for the night.
No birds lost so far, but it still early, we will see how this plays out. How good are my pens, The only 2 birds lost in several years were due to a snake.

Wow glad she saw them in time! I saw one on the highway a couple weeks ago but it was very much ALIVE lol it was eating something on the on ramp I think and then it saw me and slowly ducked under the guard rail and off the road, didn't even look phased. It was very fat too lol

And I've seen dead ones over the years

But thankfully no live ones at our house yet. This was a few exits down.

Morning folks.

Back from camping. My body does not appreciate sleeping on the ground anymore. But it did my mind good

How about some cowboy coffee?

eta: I forgot how to spell during the break?
