Mornin' chicken friends! Cold here today 19F and we'll be lucky if we get out of the 20's. Unexpectedly have the day off work but really cold out. Maybe l'll take care of my dog grooming today they've been a little neglected since the coop frenzy took over. Have a fantastic day all

Good morning, it is COLD, dogs are under their blanked on the couch.

We are going to a Super Bowl party. All the food must have bacon in it. DH wants to make chocolate covered bacon, which means I'll be making chocolate covered bacon! And a maple cupcake with maple buttercream frosting and candied bacon on top. It should be interestingly!

And here is DS's 20 year old cat, from yesterday. He had recovered and is back to his usual self (crabby)! I swear, he will live forever!

Talking is the only qualification necessary these days! I stopped listening years ago, most of them just "babble" anyway. Too bad the aren't required to have some real life experience.

Politicians on BOTH sides of the fence are doing a number on US right now. Non think partisan politics drives me nuts.

What kind of dogs do you have? Dog grooming sounds like a good way to spend your indoor day!

I have a doodle mutt. Half golden retriever and half standard poodle. She is going to be 10 soon and she has been the easiest and most obedient dog I have ever owned. I also have a 3 year old English Setter who was by far the most difficult puppy I have ever owned. He has blossomed into the sweetest love bug ever. He's the most joyful dog ever. I groom both dogs myself after having some mishaps with other "real" groomers. It's a ton of work because they are both coated. I love them can you tell

Morning! 17 worth of cold here too. Snowed all day yesterday, today freezing drizzle down below the clouds but sunny here at my house with wind on tap for tomorrow. I am going to be worthless come summer; you'll find me basking on our rock outcrop all day.......
DS$ is home again because his arm needs more elevating and icing, plus the doc appt and all of the ice outside. He is already getting "bored." My non-couch potato can only watch so many movies and we are a smidge over 24 hours into this episode.
Gonna need more coffee for sure.

@Merrymouse thanks for sharing pictures of your dogs! Sounds like you have one on each end of the spectrum, lol.

The last dog I had was a Westie and finding a groomer for her was a bit of trial & error. Too many wanted to cut her like a Poodle. We finally lucked out and found one that knew what a Westie was supposed to look like.
