Good morning! Thanks for the coffee.

Was 70 just a couple of days ago, got a couple inches of snow last night.

But we're supposed to be back in the 60s in a couple of days.

Morning Scott! The ducks really don't seem to mind the snow. They don't like their pool frozen, but they still stand on top of it!

I complain, but I'm much happier having the highs mixed in there. At least I haven't had to carry much water yet. I have gotten clear enough days to re-hook up hoses.

We are getting thunderstomped at the moment; temperature in the upper 50's, and rain going almost sideways in the wind. When the drama clears out, the wind is supposed to remain; apparently it's escorting in a little reality check for us. Today's high is only supposed to be around 60, and tonight the low is headed into the 20's. Bouncing back up to 70-ish by this weekend, though; "rollercoaster" is right!

Scott, this is me two winters ago trying to find my mail box. We can handle the 15" they are throwing at us today. Although it is snowing sideways and fast right now. Just got back from the grocery. Going to make a hearty beef stew for the family then get to the dogs.

Good morning all, another day at work for me, but at least it is my Friday. DH is out of town, do it is my responsibility to feed the wildlife. And it is still COLD,

Whoop, I feel for you. I have a sister that is kinda like that, but not quite as bad. Mostly she and her husband just park themselves in the chairs and watch the rest of us work and do things. Margie had some great ideas, and I'm sure you can come up with a few more. The only advice I can give you is this: turn it into your own private game. I'm sure you can think of some way to make her visit less than comfortable, without being obvious. And since you didn't ask for this you should at least have fun with it.

I shall hope that the weather is nice for you so you at the very least are not cooped up in the house with her!

Thanks for the coffee TK! The little one was up at 5am this morning so I'm grabbing an extra large

Anyone got me beat for temperature this morning? Sitting at -20 (-4 F), and closer to -30 with the windchill! Brr brr!

@Merrymouse Ha, that snow is awesome

So cafe, lend me your ears, I got pretty upset at DH last night due to a reaction he gave. It was on a sort of sensitive subject and I just can't seem to shake this underlying anger!
In the long run it's unimportant of course (most things are!), and I don't want to drag something on or have this underlining ******-offness.


What do you do when you want to get over feeling ****** off at your partner?
