Hmm, I keep looking out in the kitchen and haven't seen any brownies there yet. I thought someone was making a pan to share with the group?

Maybe the mailbox. Yeah, that's it...I'll check the mailbox.

I planned to make mocha brownies(from a box) but, too hot today and rain, rain and more rain.

Ahhh, waking up to the sun and evidence of a nighttime rain.. Simply beautiful.

Well it rained and rained so never got up to the temps they said. SO am going to make my mocha brownies and when they come out of the oven I am going to put a healthy scoop of Mocha almond fudge ice cream on top and just bliss out. I was making them for one of the bus drivers and when I told him- he said he doesn't like chocolate. WHAT???

Come to think of it when they introduced chocolate filled Twinkies, he ate it reluctantly. No wonder we don't get along well. But I did find 3 golf balls for him and after the mud came off they weren't bad at all.

I came in for some lunch and a break from the heat too. Unfortunately when I looked at the temp, it said 72. Gosh, I'm such a baby! Processed the quail today and now they are sitting in marinade for a few days. They are a bit of work up here and I think their food is what drew the bear in and so I was over having them outside my bedroom and I can't build a strong enough enclosure, not worth the money or trouble, and so they are moving on. I am also missing a chicken ??? My last broody, her chick ditched her and moved in with the meatie chicks, is totally MIA. I think she may have flown over the fence to try to get to her baby and I didn't see her outside of the fence and so, poof, someone ate well.

I also planted some Quinoa yesterday in a spot I would like to start cultivating. It is going to be a process because of the hillside slope. Well, I reckon that is about all of the weird going on. Back out into the heat....

My air thermostat is at 84. I guess you won't be coming for a visit then?
At 72 I cry, freeze, shatter, and die.
