Today is PUPPY day! We are picking her up at 10:30 this morning and then the long drive home! I'm so excited I don't think I even need coffee!. . e

I am sharing my shock and awe over the paperwork with you all because I am keeping it as normal as possible for the DS$. He is allowed Excitement= yes, freaking out and feeling any made up stress= no.
But I was just thinking to myself as I was going over the documents, wondering where my signature on these might take the boy and what opportunities may hatch out of this paper that every single world class and all of those athletes that didn't quite make it have signed as their first starting point. Just curious as to the box of chocolates that is being opened... why is it that this particular DS is heading to Developmental Camp when he technically isn't old enough to even be there, but through the grapevine, he gets to apply for a spot to fill out the camp when they open it up to a few younger kids? Just musing over the mug of coffee......

@MissWiggles a big day for sure. I once had a dog that cried and puked and pooped the entire 7 hour ride home. Not fun. I had her in a crate and she was just so freaked out. Finally I took her out of the crate and plopped her on my lap while I drove. Not the safest route but the poor thing was just so upset. And guess who that was.....yes my Maisey girl that just turned 10 and she still never ever leaves my side. Can't wait for puppy pictures.

@drumstick diva I had a neighbor with a huge chocolate lab and I had a Min Pin at the time. The dog would trot across the street and poop in my front yard everyday. I finally told my neighbor because I was having my first baby and I wanted to take the baby outside in the yard and not have big piles of poop everywhere. He said his dog only poops in he woods etc etc. he tried to say the big piles of poop were from my Min Pin. I just laughed because Min Pin = tootsie rolls if you get my meaning. So a got two big brown bags scooped it all up and left it on his front stairs. His dog still pooped in my yard but he would come over periodically and scoop it up.

Snowing here today but I still might try to get out and work on the coop. 4 days until chicks arrive!!!!

Good Morning, Café Friends

Thanks for the coffee, It's needed!
Got to put the stock tank heaters back in, fix a couple of holes in DW's greenhouse.

Both of our vehicles decided that their Autotranies need some T.L.C.

So I will change the fluid and filters and hope that is enough T.L.C. to keep them happy.
Have a good weekend if you can what with this weather and all.
