BYC Café

The little one is wearing me out! We are outside walking the property quite a bit. Anything to wear her out! Of course, she is also turning into quite the social butterfly. On Monday she went to work with DH while I was at a meeting, she made the rounds and then slept under his desk. On Tuesday I needed to stop by work, so Lucy got to visit there too! Then yesterday I went into town for a haircut, she came along (at the stylist's request), then she visited some family and a niece at daycare. Today we are staying home, I need to clean!

Good Morning, Wiggles

Sounds more like you need to rest up for later.
Have a good Lucy day!

I'll make a couple of pies! I will go anywhere for a good potato salad!
Well, that rules Sour's out - would you come anyway?

Mornin' y'all!

Had a frosty start to the day; I guess Ol' Man Winter just has to keep reminding us he has some bark left in him. Never quite as dark as the inside of a well here, though there are times when you can't see a mule right in front of your face.

BB2K may have created a monster. IDK if that Serama chick thinks she's a chicken, or maybe it thinks it's a people, but it is pretty tightly imprinted on her. It likes to snuggle under her chin or in her hair, and it runs around in the brooder screaming its head off any time it's not with her. For such a tiny animal, it sure is LOUD!

Many years ago (with rumors of a bear in the area) the dogs were barking at night. I stepped off the deck and walked into something dark and furry.

Thankfully it was the neighbor's pony.

My potato salad tends to quiet things down -------------------------------- for a while.

@Bunnylady Print out a picture of BB2K and tape it to the brooder wall. Saw someone that did that with a lone duckling and she said it worked, better than a mirror!

That would be so awesome if that worked!
I am back in from my sunny Day. Woody got to ride around the arena and then I drug a tree next to him while I was walking on the ground and then we did hiker backpack work again. He remembered it all from last year. Now I am going to go work sheep.

Okay, so checked the boys' "equipment" and mouths (teeth) and we will be down to one ram after the 4th of April.
One did not drop his baby making factories and the other one is aggressive and shocked the DH with how powerful the ram can ram. I saw the boy coming and placed myself behind a tree and it hit the tree with a lot of force and DH was very surprised and I said," You thought I was joking when I said you could help by calling 911 if needed?" This guy was on the list a long time ago..... but it is a bummer that my cool looking one made the freezer camp list too.

*sigh* chicks are as bad as kids about fighting sleep. Actually, this one was even funnier; before I could get the picture snapped, he was balanced on the tip of his beak.

Margie, sorry about the one ram, but it sounds like the other one almost can't go too soon!
