Morning! Nice day and oodles of things to choose from to get done but I think setting up a spot in the main coop for the little ones is next on the list and moving some sheep around and constructing a grooming/vetting stand. At least their paddock is drying out, thanks in part to the winds we had two nights ago. All right, off and running, have a wonderful day!

I hate to sound like a jaded old man, but around here the idea of real 'work' especially if you might get dirty is a fading concept.

it's a shame, that allot of folks no longer take pride in a work ethic.

I'm glad the wife and I are on the same page in this regard with our kids. They may not like it, but they won't ever be scared of hard work......

that's 2 gallons of dewberries from Sunday.

Monday, the kids picked another half gallon......if it ain't raining when I get home, we will add to it.......

we tried jelly, with the first 6 quarts.......I think we needed more pectin......we wound up with dewberry syrup........but that works too, since we tend to eat lots of homemade pancakes and waffles, heck, even bisket dipping would work.

wife will try again, once we get another gallon.......
