BYC Café

Anyway, the lamb stew was a hit! DS$ had one second of wondering who he was having for dinner and then after tasting, his little eyes bugged and he said," Wow! Mittens or Tank tastes great!"
End of story. Now he is totally proud and so is the DH for that matter, to show off the homegrown goodies. I still find it kinda funny that the ones left are the ones that we never nicknamed.
The meat is very, very, very mild tasting, incredibly so. Way better than any lamb I have ever had.

One of those situations where it pays to not stand out?

Foggy and groggy this morning . . . trying to decide whether another cup of coffee will get me going, or just going, if you get my drift.

Good morning, heading off to work this morning, hoping for the best. Took Lucy into town yesterday, she now weighs 17.3 pounds!

Have a great day everyone.

Hey.... How goes misswiggles. :frow
Did your end of the county get snow?
I keep getting all these weather advisories last few days.... But thankfully no snow. Just gloomy.
Your little puppy sure is cute.

Rest in pieces Tank or Mittens.

Never had lamb, but my mom often made veal chops. They were delicious till I figured out where veal came from.

*sigh* I can still remember a friend in high school, pulling a package of meat from the freezer and asking her mother, "Is this Monty or . . . .?"

Yeah, farm kids are different.

Hey, Phil, glad to see you. Help yourself to the coffee; there's plenty left. Or if you want to get into whatever else that is that TK's provided this morning, go for it, but you're a braver man than I if you do.

I love lamb.... That's what we buy more these days than beef.
It just adds a little more diversity to the menu.
