BYC Café

Morning! Thanks for the coffee. It stayed above freezing last night but it is breezy out there. Still too snowy to work in the gardens, too windy for tree work so maybe a good day for a trip to town. Hopefully, I will miss the chaos of the Holiday shopping. Anyone doing something "special" for the weekend? I am glad we have snow everywhere so the campers will not be able to burn the place down. That is always a plus....

Always a silver lining, lol, good job in finding the one here. Having grown up in an area that was very popular among the "flatlanders" to go camping, etc I completely understand the feeling of dread that holiday weekends can bring with them.
Not much planned here -- boy and I might make a trip to my sister/mom's place for the day Saturday and then plan on just enjoying EVERY MINUTE of Monday, have a renewed appreciation of holidays since starting back to working full-time, lol.

Kdogg, do I think it's s breed thing? I'm not sure. Had a cousin once with ears like mine. Lost him in his early teens. Him and his mom were going down the freeway when he saw someone he knew, so he stuck his head out the window to holler at them and the wind caught his ears and beat him to death.

Nah, just funning ya Kdogg :)

I figured, especially as I got near the end, and was like 99% sure, but then if it was actually real I didn't want to be rude and insensitive and laugh... :lau

Oh come on, everyone seems to know except me! Lol

And we don't live like directly in a popular area, thank goodness, but we live kind of near one and the traffic in the summer can be crazy lol

Don't think so.

It is just that folded over ears makes the canal dark and moist and warm.

Of course some breeds have ears that are more sealed off from the air than others.....

Thanks, that makes sense. I do wonder though if part of it is genetic? Since every Golden my dad knew had it. But it's also probably diet maybe? I think any floppy ear is prone to it. Though our Lab never had issues and neither has our current Lab mix

Good Morning, Café :frow
They say that we might even get to see some sun today. :bow
It was a very wet night, but we did need some rain, just maybe not this much. :barnie
Coffee and Tea water are ready.
Hope everybody has a good 'Almost Friday' morning
Scott

Thanka for the coffee Scott!

It's going to be a rainy day here, but it's swimming "lessons" in town today anyway.

Just a regular weekend up this way; hopeing to have the coop finished!

Have a great day
