Morning! A couple of 6 packs of beer usually drags in some help, especially if you throw in a BBQ with burgers. It is only 100 bales of hay after all. That is 3 easy stacked pickup loads. Are you putting them in a barn? That is the brutal part... I would try bribery, then beg. There has to be a truck around...
We have smoke here again from new fires out in west CO.

Morning Margie and the rest of you guys :frow
I agree with Margie, some (not alot) beer and lunch should work wonders in getting offers to help with the hay.
Al, if all else fails you might have to even think about maybe paying out real money for help.

Morning! Glad everything is fine at home, Al. At least the raw milk was in the fridge and not out on the counter...
DD, have fun with the DS!
I am off to pull weeds out of the garden and curse at the rodents.

I had 2 half-gallon jugs of barely outdated milk in the fridge. Wanted to make a cheesecake, so I went to get more. Finally poured out the old jugs, made the cheesecake with the new milk, and accidentally left it out on the counter. Left to go to the feed store. Hubby came home, saw the milk on the counter, assumed it was the old stuff, and poured it out! Didn't notice the new date on the jug until he threw the empty jug in the trash.

I told him at least he was lucky, I had already made the cheesecake! :D

My son saw something that was worn out in the toilet tank, so he went to Home Depot and got new complete inards, put them in and it has worked fine since (knock on wood).:thumbsup

:clap

Yep..up high in a barn.. I can do that part, especially if I don't have to go fast...but drive the truck and stack the bales? I am not good at that. The big boys are SO fast and well trained! !! Dang do I miss them!

They also feed me better.

Just chiming in on how offering some beer sure does work to get people to offer you some help!! I had a small cookout yesterday and after a few beers, I was able to wrangle 3 people to come help me get my lost chicken out of some very terrible woods, thickets. 1 of the people was even wearing a skirt haha. We sure did catch her too.
BTW, I'm Andrea from upstate NY. I am an animal lover. I have 3 dogs, 3 cats and 10 pullets.
