Good Morning! My Dear Diva, Sir Sour and, Café People :frow
Very interesting morning here, set a coon sized live trap baited with dry cat food. Normally this will get a coon or possum or stray cat. This morning I find a red Fox in one of them:eek: and people say how hard they are to trap
I don't know when I'll get my tree's cut down let alone one in the great white north.
have a good Sunday everybody!

Big catch on the red fox. In a lot of years of box trapping, I have only ever caught 4 red fox. 3 were kits (littermates I think), and were caught in a 3 day span. The fourth was a mature dog fox with a broken lower jaw. Poor thing was starving to death. Well done.

Morning. Cloudy and chilly. The only thing we had last night was a small bear ~200 lbs that DH spotted when he was plugging in the electric fence after cleaning up from a campfire. The bear started hissing and growling and so we got out the fireworks for him....
A neighbor yelled across the way asking what was going on, "Is that fireworks or a bear?" and we said, "Both!" and he said,
"Should I get the 12 gauge?" and we said, "No, he left, but thanks!"
I thought the whole exchange was rather funny.
Nice hot coffee, thank you!
