BYC Café

We have that happen often, the freezers go nuts and over freeze everything-boxes are just covered in frost & ice. After they repair them and put the same stuff back, people unknowingly buy them - to find the innards are all ice crystals, ruins everything.
that is

so bad!!
gritty ice cream is nasty! :sick

Alaskan I hope you see this. Only YOU can fully understand the extent of this calamity.
CRY HAVOC !!!!!!!!
The grocery store had my favorite Haagen Daz Rocky Road ice cream (as per avatar)
on CLEARANCE(as in good -by forever). I was just numb, they only had one left. How come they didn't warn me in advance? I would have bought all my piggy bank could afford, so I could wean off slowly....

I just keep loosing things this year, my brains first, then our county passed a Sugar drinks(also unsweetened) pop tax of 1 cent per ounce, which really adds up in restaurants and buying 2 lt.bottles., so I don't go to local eateries. On Sunday we go to my brother's county which doesn't have the tax, to stock up, and eat out his way.
:hit:hit:hit:(

You don't know it, but i highly sympathize with this. it's just down right wrong. :hugs

Hi all.
I'm Michelle. I've been a chicken owner for 2 and a half weeks now. Still a total greenhorn. So far I'm loving it. The day after I got my girls (12 leghorns) something really upsetting happened and I was pretty beside myself. I wanted to get the hens more familiar with me so I went and sat inside their coop with them. After 15 minutes or so I felt so much better. Even though they were nervous they kept coming over to check me out. They're really quite amusing to watch.

I do believe that I'm officially hooked

Welcome to BYC, and to the many joys of having your own chickens to watch/sit/pet/spoil/ talk with.
This thread is an ongoing chat. The post that you 1st replied to is over 2 years old, but don't worry about it. :hugs I have found even older posts and replied to them without even thinking about how old they were.

If you have any questions about things on BYC, just ask and somebody will find an answer for you.
BTW, if you think that you just maybe somehow might be 'officially' hooked, it's way tooooooooo late for you to be cured of it now. :old
Have a real nice day :hugs
