The schools went with a 2-hour delay this morning; erring on the side of caution. The center (in as much as there is one) is just to the south of us now. Fortunately, the heavier precip has stayed offshore, so we have only had about an inch of rain overnight. No real wind to speak of - just kinda "bleh" weather.

I'll take "bleh" over drama any day.

Thanks for the goodies this fine almost dry morning.
They blew the forecast for us BIG-TIME, even at noon the forecast was for 5-6 inches of rain.
Right now I have a measly .05 inch of drizzle in my rain gauges.
I hope that all them pills and Snake Oils don't make anybody ill.

Morning! Coffee and a nice walk?
Went for a ride yesterday, put coats on the rest of the sheep, split wood, got the kiddo from practice and then went down to have a birthday dinner for DS@, who is back from MT for a few days, and then they will probably head off to some other fire. Our sunrise has a smoky tint from the north and the south is flooding... Hugs to all!

Yes, i made a batch of Long Johns! That is what i craved when i was carrying my second son. My husband named him John Paul and he is the tallest person in our family! Lol.
