BYC Café

Spent several years in Ca. with the Air Force and had several friends from Co. back in the early 70's. Just saying that some brownies can make it hard to find the door, let alone walk out of it.

And those full solid glass doors can cause issues too.

Good morning Cafe'. Had good friends here for the past 3 days, now need to get back to some semblance of a routine.

Have a good day everyone.

Friday!! Missed ya gal. Hope all is well in your world. How's Pops?

I hear you in those glass doors! LOL

Dad is doing well. Quite sick of the facility, but he needs to tough it out for another week of antibiotics. All wounds have finally healed up, which is great! Thanks for asking. :hugs

:yesss: That's great news! Very glad to hear it. Reversing the roles and taking care of a parent can be stressful and rough on everyone. Hope you are holding up and taking care of yourself too! ;) :hugs

Listen up ! There will be no special brownies here in the Café. Try some of my chocolate chip cookies. Good morning, Café.
That's ok, i will keep the green ones for my coop opening party. The other ones are safe for anyones consumption unless you are allergic to nuts.

Crazy they put come in it but i guess they didn't know then and hahaha you mean the kind of brownies that rhyme with cot? :lau never had them or smoked it but as long as it doesnt have coke in it I'm good :lau maybe make some regular ones too though? Or better yet, the kind with junior mints, thin mint cookies, or Oreos in them. Or marshmallows melted on top :love or the snack bar that's chocolate chip cookie dough on the bottom, Oreos on top of that, and brownie on top. Soooo bad but sooooo good LOL :love
Thin mints or junior mints?! OOOOOO

Morning! Another fine day in store for us. More wood splitting and maybe I will haul some slash away for a neighbor. It is also time to do a final weed whack around the house and property to get ready for the fire season that I think may come. All of the critters are saying, "early winter", but that may be due to our colder Aug., which threw us all off.
I haven't even started on my wood yet! Gonna freeze this winter!

Question.
I'm a total newbie.
My hens are "rescues" from an egg farm, so won't let me handle them. A few will let me stroke them but you can tell that they're petrified the whole time.
Several if them have very filthy feathers around their butts. Is there something I should be looking for?
