Mornin', y'all! Thanks for the coffee - maybe it'll get at least one of my eyes open this morning.

Foggy, soggy, groggy morning here. We had thunderstorms overnight. Fortunately, by the time they got here, they had lost a lot of the energy they had. Looks like folks to the west of us really got hammered, though, and some folks in South Carolina may have had tornadoes to deal with. No new standing water, so I'm good - though the mosquito population seems to be getting denser by the day.

Doesn't the smell drive you crazy? I don't mind fresh onion, but stale onion stinks! Husband will eat left over onion, yuck! Sigh, the cats just spilled my bottle of water. Usually it is the dog. I have four cats and a dog in my bedroom. Other dog is downstairs.

It's amazing how those little guys seem to be everywhere all at once and always in the way. I had 4 myself but one went missing 4 weeks ago. Of course it was our pet, not one of the mouse's.

speaking of mosquitoes shouldn't they be gone by now? Got eaten alive in the garden the other day. It's been a weird summer this year for sure.
