Good evening all.
Just brewed a fresh pot.
It's definitely fall around here. Got up this morning to 2C temps (35F), but surprisingly no frost. Then the temp climbed all the way to 29C (about 89F I think). Tomorrow is supposed to reach 33C! That's the warmest temp we've had all summer. Just a mean jab to remind us what we won't see for months and months to come.

Thanks for the fresh cup of coffee, another hour left to work so I can use the jolt!

That's one heck of a temp swing! I thought we were the only ones who needed heat in the a.m. and air conditioning in the afternoon.

I hear now Virginia may get the left over impact if Irma hits NC. Great, more rain. Today it was getting colder instead of warmer. It was down to 59 at one point. I want to get out into the garden!

I am sure she would not be the first one to do so. Poor old Charlie has been doing that on and off before he was hit by the Mule. I just hope i don't step in any in the middle of the night on my way to the bathroom!

I have learned to step lightly if i feel anything with my foot. When i was a teen i had fish in my room in fish tanks one jumped out and landed on the floor. I stepped on it. Yuck! So since then i don't put my weight on the front foot until i feel that it is clear. Now i have kittens that sleep anywhere i have to avoid in the dark.

What a great idea two freezer drawers - one to keep ice cream solidly frozen, and one to maybe have it a bit warmer for instant noshing.

My house is completely scratch, dent, bent, and has been that way forever. Who knew that household appliances, paint, wallpaper, carpets didn't last forever.
