How do you do so much, when you feel so bad?!? Dr. WV thinks you work too hard. :D

I slept late today, had breakfast at lunch time. When most folks are getting tired, i start to really wake up. Night person. Plus i take lots of breaks and do things sitting down when i can.

How many daughters do you have?

Maybe you slept so late because you were up chatting with me until 2am.

That's nothing unusual. I used to read a book every day. Mostly at night, especially if i was having depression problems. Gets you out of your head and gives you something else to think about. How are you tonight?

Me too! The gilt is referred to as pork chop. The baby is roast.
I never named mine at all. They all looked alike, same size and color. We did plan to eat them but i got a good price from a guy who wanted them for breeding. I bet they would have been tasty. May try raising pigs again.

Again, sounds like me. Although lately I'm doing good if I manage to read a page before I fall asleep.
I'm doing well, thanks for asking. Spent today dividing my run and pulling my new girls out of the flock. I was thinking that there was a severe case of bullying going on. When I got them they were just finishing up their moult. Now they seem to be losing feathers at a rapid rate and their skin is bright red. The one with the greatest feather loss kept lying down, partially on her side. But then she'd seem perfectly fine. Eating, drinking and moving around without any difficulty. Then I'd see her lying down again. I assumed it's stress from being harassed so much. Digginchickens is suggesting that they could be sick. What illness would make them lose their feathers and turn their skin bright red?

We actually refer to them as a collective group that way. I intentionally don't call them by any name. Just He, she and little guy.

I have no idea but maybe someone on the illness thread would. Have you checked for mites or lice? That would probably make them tired.
My phone is running out of battery and so am i. Have a great night. Hope the chickens do ok. Hugs.
