Yeah, like $1600 from a breeder and up.

I guess that's not too much though since a lot of breeders are within that range, like 1500 to 1800 or even 2000 for some. But they're a lot smaller lol

For some reason I thought they were more than that. Maybe before I did more research and knew average prices I thought that was high. I'm actually surprised it's not more cause don't they need c sections sometimes?

They are adorable little dogs though. I would love one.

I heard they were pretty tough dogs, not as delicate as most small breeds, and pretty energetic like a little border collie, but I don't think they'd be tough enough to handle Gator, our 130 pound black Lab/Great Pyrenees mix LOL and he doesn't really like small dogs anyway.

I really want a German Shepherd, Aussie, Husky, Lab, Golden, or Boston Terrier.

Or a Toller (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever).

Huskies and Aussies are a bit too high energy for me atm, my dad doesn't like shepherds, too protective (though I want a white shepherd or even a white Swiss shepherd too). I think Boston's or a retriever are highest on the list atm. Although Huskies have my dog's personality lol goofy, fun loving, a bit stubborn. But I want an obedient dog. I think Boston's, although some can be quite large and are very tough, might still be a bit small for Gator.

I think a Golden might be ideal, a tad bit calmer and smarter maybe than a Lab, but my dad says they have lots of ear problems so idk

But of course we can't get a second dog atm anyway and I can't get my own

Also have terriers I might like to try lol

Back from the get together at the golf course...our 4 person team won the game! It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect. It was nice to get a chance to say 'job well done' to these folks, they're the ones that stayed with us all season and worked their hind ends off.

lol. really. My maiden name is Farmer and I married a Brown so I just had to do it. I like giving people a good chuckle, or at least a smile. I did have one person tell me when I was applying for a membership at our local co-op that I was providing a fake name.

My husband's family name is french and no one can spell it or pronounce it so once we moved to the US i used my maiden name because my ID stuff had that name on it any way. Much easier.

I think the dog I'd like best would be a St. Bermese. A cross of st. Bernard and a Burmese Mountain dog. Still thinking about the Lapphund though...
