Our golf course is closed for the season and the club house is cleaned, ready for next season so today is a play day. A bunch of us employees are getting together to play golf and have a pizza lunch to celebrate the end of a good season.

Aww sorry you've had such bad luck with the breed! Are problems like that, with health and finding show quality animals, common in the breed or do you think you've just had some really bad luck?

I think determining show quality at a young age is very difficult. I was on one breeders waiting list for 2 years and when she finally had a female she might part with she decided to keep it because it was so nice!
The internal defect of my Jenny i think was a fluke. And many breeds have problems with undescended testicles. There just do not seem to be a lot of Paps to choose from. At least mine did not suffer from problems with patellas. Lots of toy dogs have that.

People give fire wood away free here if you pick it up. One guy even offered a case of beer if you came and took it away. Not split, but heck what a deal!

I've got 30 acres of trees here, but there was a fire about 20 years ago and the trees just aren't big enough to warrant cutting.

p.s. I'm really liking this site on a computer vs my phone!

My laptop went on a trip to Israel with my DW last week and will not be back until Saturday the 28th. Until then, I am mostly using my tablet at home. Even with a Blue tooth keyboard, it is harder to use. I have to go to way too many screens to insert an image and the spell as you go is not working on it. I do not know if it is a site thing or a browser thing. Gotta to some investigating....

That makes sense but still stinks. And yeah, I don't think they're too common or popular a breed yet? Not super rare though either but enough I imagine it makes finding show quality animals harder. I imagine there's plenty of pet quality animals in the breed? But they're getting more popular lately I think because they're such cute, fun little dogs and good at agility and tricks/obedience, right? But they're still so expensive

Yeah, like $1600 from a breeder and up.
