Good morning, Café, and thanks for the coffee, Debby. @cow whisperer , hope you got everything melted, and did not end up with broken pipes. The wind has stopped here. A little fresh snow has made everything 'pretty' - sort of.

Morning! A couple of inches of snow here as well. Cap, Hugs, that has to be so frustrating. Yesterday was one of those days when you wash your hands BEFORE using the restroom, but I got a lot of stuff done. I think one of my sheep got bred through the fence..., or she is a lumpy kind of fat.
Sigh... DS$ said no to a practice on Friday night, if it happens, of which we never know until Fri. afternoon. Yeah for him because he is competing both days this weekend. Next week is finals so I am thinking of minimizing the after school traveling as well. It is a hot coffee kind of day out there. I am off to cut out sheep coat pieces and feed the stock and count heads and etc.

Good morning!

Was outside this morning and thought, "mmm, doesn't seem too cold today" Then two minutes later my figures were frozen. -22 today fun fun (that's -22C or -22F with wind chill so either works )

Will be hosting an extra toddler again tonight as my friends surgery was postponed. So I'll just be doing some much needed clean up around the house. And bake some bread.
At least it's sunny

Oh, and ya, we've got a nice blanket of snow here too, but nothing to write home about

Had sick pigs the other day. I think they ate some moldy alfalfa. Poor guys.

Haven't managed to get the hot water pipe thawed out yet.
When I went out to check on the chickens I had gloves on and my fingers still froze. Nope, I am still living with a person who doesn't like to do anything yet he is the one who wants to be a farmer. Sure he works at night but he still could have been nice enough to get under the trailer with the heat gun so I could have hot water in the kitchen but did he do that nope he came in the house, sat in his recliner and watched TV for a little bit then went to bed.

Margie, what does that mean...cut out sheep coat pieces? Are you making a coat from your sheep wool?

Sometime you should drop in on the Any Home Bakers thread...lot of us baking bread, rolls, cookies, etc. It's fun seeing what other bakers are doing!

We had a super time, thanks for asking! Funny, for a couple that lives and works together, we don't often have "just us" time for fun stuff. Hope your pigs are doing better!

I've been trying to thaw out the hot water in my kitchen for the past four hours and still nothing so I'm going to get a pot of coffee going, if anyone would like to join me.
