BYC Café

Tree, do you cross country?

Yup! It was a major winter activity for my family while I was growing up, I'd like to pass that down to my kids too :). We have a wide trail through our woods that works well for skiing, only got to try it once or twice last year, but their calling for a much more "traditional" winter this year so I hope that means more snow and chance to get out!

(I've actually never been downhill, but not from lack of opportunities, though it's not exactly mountainous around here lol)

Meant to be out by now....DH is still clearing snow and he wants to go out on the trail with us.

I don't have ski boots for the little one yet, so for today I'll just put him in a pack. Not sure if he'd get a handle on it yet, he's only 2.5

I'll check in again tomorrow to brew a pot, but will wish a very Merry Christmas to the Café. You all help me start my day. Hoping against hope for an appearance by @scottcaddy.

We got a Blooie, maybe we'll get a Scott too Sour! You and the Princess have a wonderful day, stay warm, stay happy and enjoy :hugs

Good morning everyone!

We finally are getting snow. There has been no precipitation for over a month. Not good for the hay. Going to start dropping in temps today. -29c tomorrow night. Brr

I think @scottcaddy was hoping that Santa would bring him a new computer for Christmas so he may be rejoining us soon.

Coffee is definitely hitting the spot.
