Merry Christmas

We now have 4 or 5 inches . As Catholics we are supposed to go Church twice today. With the snow now, I will only push for once. DH is checking the roads as we speak to see if it is safe. We are not that remote, but getting stuck somewhere with 3 kids in the car sounds like an awful Christmas.

nasty! I hated getting stuck in the snow with little kids in the car.

Then we moved. .. We can now walk to church... 5 minute walk.

I am not Catholic, I am Orthodox but we also have 2 services today... but I think only because we don't have a resident priest. .. usually there is church Christmas morning.

Anyway, .... gotta run. Stay safe!

We had the stove refuse to vent up the chimney today so the house was full of smoke.
We rarely argue, but hubby did not want to hear my opinion that the stove pipe should be dismantled and cleaned. I put the cats upstairs, shut the door on them and opened a couple of windows , then put on a fan. Threw on my coat and went outside. This is not the first time we have had this problem. The chimney sweep refused to do anything because the roof is too steep! Anyway, if we have more issues, you know who to blame.

We made it to both services. The van bottomed out in the snow but it is gravel all the way and we never really got ice this time. The kids were a handful of course, but we are lucky to have a church full of kids, so they just added to the pandemonium.
The house is a mess and everyone is coming over tomorrow . We will see how clean I manage to get things, I would rather go to bed.

I was afraid you would have trouble with smoking up your house when you mentioned before that the chimney sweep refused to help you. Surely there must be one willing to help.
