Our water kettle is making the water taste like fish. There's nothing worse than fish flavoured coffee.

Got the kettle soaking with baking soda & vinegar.

Had to give an emergency bath at 1:30 this morning...dog has a fluffy butt
I need another pot of coffee before work
Hope everyone has a great day. It's supposed to rain today, finally! I have to bring home the rest of what I need to work @ home...electronics in the rain, oh joy.

She went out to potty and came in a bit of a mess, loose stool because she snatched meds from my other dog. She goes to the beautifier tomorrow but not with a poopy butt

Mornin', y'all!

After almost 24 hours of above-freezing temperatures, we look like this:

Just to be on the safe side, the schools are going with a 2-hour delay this morning.

BUT! We are headed for a high around 60 today, so that'll make a huge difference. I get to break down the water tank in the rabbitry to see if I can figure out why the shut-off valve in it isn't working (poor rabbits; went from freezing to a flood!), and then try to get the horses' areas mucked out before it starts raining Wednesday night.

Morning! It was just shy of 60F up here yesterday...
DS$ and I were out moving a couple of sheep around and fixing some panels. There is action going on in the breeding groups and I am taking notes. Fingers crossed! Sheep are pretty rough on fences, by the way. Can't blame any goats! I need some serious coffee because I woke up feeling the storm coming in, even though it is not supposed to be anything major.

The guy is outside finishing up grading the yard by the driveway. Most loud talkative guy i ever met. He could yack the paint off a car! I am upstairs and can hear him perfectly well!

Like my brother on the phone - I have to hold the phone far from my ear - too loud. Even someone next to me will laugh because they can hear him too. One uncle was like that too on long distance calls - guess he figured it was necessary.

We're supposed to heat up to 40 tomarrow and 50 on Thursday, and then deep drop to the same crappy weather we have been experiencing for weeks
