People wrap leashes around their neck to carry them while the dog is off leash. If you meet your dog in heaven you might want a leash for it.

Maybe heaven you don't even need a leash because all the animals are just well behaved and get along? And/or maybe the dogs are allowed to run free too

At times that feels like 'this life'. Nope, want a leash just in case it's needed - ya never know. 'Rhon', my German shepherd, will be first at the gates. No leash will be needed for him. No reincarnation as a dog - I've been called that upon occasion here on earth.

I think that's the case for all of us. Change is inevitable.

I'm pretty sure I was the one who needed the leash all those years ago I'm rebellious even at this stage in my life. Less so now than I used to be of course. I do enjoy making the manager at walmart ask me to put my shoes on pretty much every time I go in the store. Then we have the conversation about people who put their dogs in the grocery cart and how that's ok but I can't have my bare feet on the floor... Hubs would have given up by now.
