Alaskan said I already know where to put them!

Nothing lives in the chicken yard(except for the chickens) so no bulbs will go there anyway

Gardening is great! I am named after my great-great-grandfather, and he was a great gardener... but we have no photos of his garden, and I have no idea what he liked to plant! :barnie

You never get cold...right? So you need to make sure you get bulbs that are happy with that. Still many choices. Because you always stay warm you should be able to plant rain lilies and amaryllis there as well as freesia and ranunculus :drool Now day lilies aren't actual bulbs... but they are lilies and they come in a jillion kinds! Did you know you can eat the buds?

I well remember Hollyhocks from my childhood, we had some and after I touched them I broke out in hives. I believe Rose of Sharon (Althea) are related to them - they seem to like me.
hives????

:hugs Dang! My grandmother would tell me stories of how the hollyhock flowers would be her dolls... since they looked like girls in big hoop skirts. (she didn't have a doll)

G'morning all Thanks for the coffee @N F C it smells wonderful this morning!
Hubs has to run for lumber before we work on the garden today. My daughter will do some shopping before she brings the boys over later, glad I don't have to add that to my day.

My dad was admitted to the hospital, pneumonia and dehydration last night. He had to shower, wash his hair and cut his nails before he left. Probably shaved too .Mom has been trying to get him to go for a week so I told him if he was so weak he couldn't get there before I was off work I was going to call an ambulance. They got to the hospital an hour before I was off. :gigOrnery old sour kraut.

Have a great day guys, pouring the coffee and pushing the man out the door, got lots to do today. Don't work too hard! :frow
