Sadly you have to make $10k from your farm in order to be classed as a farm here. I don't make enough from my hay to qualify.

Bah, it's $7000 here...that's my five year goal (2021) Though we have a farmer doing our hay so we do get farm property tax rates.
That really sucks about the cold, I also really hate cold swings in spring, at this point you're so done with winter weather.
Snowing here right now, but barely. Snow is blowing sideways anyway.
