My DH thinks I have lost my mind. I have been talking to the eggs and especially when I candled them last night. I told him all the Broodie moms talk to the eggs. So he was not surprised when I laid my head on my DD belly to have a chat with our newest Grandson
I am not sure these eggs will hatch. The rooster is a Bantam Cochin and the Hens are LF Cochin, Leg Horns, and RIR. He tries, bless his little heart. Some are fertile and I have 6 I think are growing I talked to 3 that were bobbing like Koi in a pond it was so much fun for me I just wanted to keep playing with them but know they must be kept in the bator. Being the patient person I am This is quite the challenge for me. So the more coffee the better it helps me to relax, at least that is what I will tell the doctor at the other funny farm.

Bah, it's $7000 here...that's my five year goal (2021) Though we have a farmer doing our hay so we do get farm property tax rates.
That really sucks about the cold, I also really hate cold swings in spring, at this point you're so done with winter weather.
Snowing here right now, but barely. Snow is blowing sideways anyway.

Yeah that's one benefit. Property taxes are $75/year.

I sure have missed the Random Ramblings. Been sittin with the coffee thread, I think it is out of order.
Trying my first Incubator hatch. Lots of studying and the Best info is on BYC!

I just tried my first hatch too... 0 out of 15. Got 3 dozen waiting to go in.

You're getting quite a bit more wind than us...we're "only" getting up to 35-40 mph. Hang on tight Margie (stupid wind).
