Yeah, we got about an 1" last night but still have red flag warnings, too!

Well, the wind finally calmed down last night and is still calm this morning. Hoping it stays this way.

Good morning
First chick has hatched. about an hour ago then I had to feed kittens. I am not sure if yolk pr no little concerned. but it is moving and chirping will post pics after I sleep. second egg pipped 730 last night. first took 27 hours.

Ok DH is concerned as well. even turned the heat on inside the house! Should I intervene?

I am thinking not all yolk was absorbed and not sure if it needs the teacup or seated back in shell or just left alone?

I think that is a Witch Hazel thing on that chick to dry it up.
Morning! Long day here yesterday but nice weather. DS$ qualified to be on the CO State National dual team in both Freestyle and Greco. I think he is happy but stunned. It means a trip to IN next May for the Nationals.
Congrats to your GS, Sour. I bet you are happy to be back out on the fields!
