Goats seem to be adorable especially goatlets, when someone else has them.

Not delicious to adult palates
She so far has been my best goat... and she was free. She was a super scaredy cat... and her previous owners couldn't deal with her flighty ways.
We just worked with her, and over time she calmed right down. She is still a bit shy, but very sweet.
She has been in milk for OVER a year and still produces almost a gallon every day. She is also the easiest to milk. She will stand there patiently and doesn't dance or kick or whatnot.
Interestingly, when we first got her, having a lead rope attached to her collar at all times helped to calm her. Having 2, for the extra weight I guess, was even better. (and yeah, yeah, tangle hazzard etc... but we kept an eye out and nothing bad ever happened). We also made a "calm goat" and that helped a great deal too.The "calm goat" was a scarecrow.. but having the humanoid figure in her pasture really did help her calm down.
After some months we were able to remove the lead ropes, and I put a bell on her collar. The bell calmed her too.
The "calm goat" is long gone now. But she is just fine now, just a touch shy. Even lost the bell maybe 3 months back... I haven't replaced it and she is now fine without it.
looks great!
(but I am with Sour and Diva )
