My parents owned a farm in Elmira! I tore down an old barn there. Dad fell off a horse we borrowed. We never lived there, but they bought it, fixed it up and sold it. I stepped on a nail that went through my sneaker and into my foot! Didn't hurt. Just started feeling soggy after a while! Sneaker full of blood.

Oh wow, lots of stories! When did you finally notice the nail? Lol seems like a nice enough town

Cap ugh! But at least if it bled alot I think you didn't need a tetanus shot . I keep up on my boosters just in case.

Penny sounds like you need an ice cream pick me up - flavor of your choice and then a nice nap. Sometimes I just take the a nap.

I noticed when the inside of my sneaker got all wet.
That town is in northern ny, way up there. Not anywhere near PA.

Better to get a shot than die in agony. I had a goat once that got tetanus, not a nice way to go. All the muscles keep spasming.

Google shows it here. Which looks somewhat near PA? At least the border. But definitely way up there and middle of nowhere and kinda upstate.
