Wow, you are tough!It has been really dry around here. The ground where I fell was hard. Problem was both my hands were full of feed pails, so couldn't break my fall. Hit with all the force on my right hip. Knocked the air outta me, too! I just laid there for about 30mins before the shock wore off and I could even get up.
Walked back to the house, not even limping....but I knew at the very least the bone was cracked.
From what the ER doc's said about the break, I shouldn't have been able to walk?proved them wrong on that one!
Leave Texas, never!!!!! Oh I might take a trip out of Texas but never gonna leave, at least not while alive.

Yep, fed and watered my birds myself today....took 3hrs on crutches,normally 1 1/2 hrs. Neighbor asked me if I wanted him to come over and do it but I hate to impose on anybody, so did it myself.
