Lol, once i did my research after i caught the snake. Turned out non poisonous, i think it was a puff adder? They are known for playing dead. And they also sit up like a cobra. I was worried it might hurt my goats. It was like 8 years ago in TN. I pinned it to the ground with the loppers i was carrying. Took it home and put it in a 10 gallon tank until i could figure out what it was.

It's been one of those lazy days, again. I discovered I have muscles I didn't know I had so trying to walk without assistance, cane, crutch, I found those muscles!
New pain, soreness, oh well this too will pass.
Other than being a snake whisperer, how ya been Cap! Oh and glad you found your AWOL bird.

I killed a copperhead 2 days ago in one of my pens. Between snakes and coons, I've been quite busy trying to keep my birds protected.

I am still alive but was in a terrible mood yesterday. Hubby not happy with my lackadaisical cleaning habits. Today i have eggs to ship and PT. Probably the rest of the day will be spent on animal care.
