What's been happening down in your neck of the woods? Are you starting to see some signs of fall (or what may pass as fall for Phoenix)?

It was 109 the other day but cooler the next few days. You don't see much change here in the valley other than shorter days, but you can feel and smell it in the morning. You know how fall mornings have that slight change in coolness and you can smell the moisture is the air. Love it!

What about you? I know things are winding down for the season. Doing anything to get ready for Winter?

Morning! Had some rain overnight and it is cloudy, but sunny and dry for the rest of the week around here. Not much other than the never ending chores going on so I guess that is good.

Hmmm, what am I doing to get ready for winter? That's a good question So far, all I've done is find a bunch of recipes for new dinners I want to make I have a lot of 'me' time in the winter and DH doesn't have to work such long hours so I try to fix something nice. Guess that's what I'm doing for winter prep!

Good afternoon, Cafe. Went grocery shopping early this morning. It takes us a long time, since we're buying for 5 people for at least 2 weeks. After getting it all bought, loaded, unloaded, and put up, I'm POOPED!

We also had to go into chehalis this this morning... glad to here water receding for most parying for those where water is still and issue
