I think he is, like I said he does some of those things Snoppy does....when he gets excited he dances like Snoppy, comes up to me and puts his head up against me like he's hugging me, etc, etc, etc.

Dogs are the best companions. Sometimes better than another human. Not always, but sometimes.

No, he has been hauling and splitting wood. I fed the rabbits, that should last 2 days. I have automatic waterer systems for most of them. The quail are all set for today. I need to check the residents of turkey town. I know the guineas will need food and water.
But mostly i have been resting. Thanks for thinking of me. Hubby did feed the dog at least.

Well at least you're getting some rest. Happy to know you'll be able to see your doc soon. I've been thinking of you all day :hugs

Glad to hear your at least able to move a bit hopefully without pain I am in and our moved the two marans pullets and the one cockerel into the empty coop putting a board at the front trying to fix the flaw.. It was made of shipping crate attached to a small box we built to house cockerel I cannot stand upright anywhere in it but is plenty large enough for say 5 pullets and a cockerel

The pain is not so bad, i keep taking the pills on schedule. Or else i would be out there working. I have so much to do to get ready before winter. We are overdue for our first frost. I need to get the water warmers ready for the rabbits and chickens. The hutches need windbreaks installed.

But two days rest can be a long way towards healing Cap and it all will still be there Please
