My mother used to say that I was transfused with rooster blood - to bed at dusk and up at daybreak. The Princess stays up till 12 - 2 and then sleeps to 10 AM. Our son has the same sleep pattern. You have a sleep pattern like them.

I stay up till all hours of day /night. Then in between (?) nap a lot. Works for me. Your mother used to say a lot of things about you. Think it started with the "Mrs.Wallace, Georgie is dead." scare. Your poor mom

Of course I always slept with head under the covers and my mom was always checking to see if I was still breathing. Sometimes I would hold my breath. Okay but not as dramatic as jumping off a roof.

The thing about sleeping with head under covers., not so good if two people in bed doing the same - can scare the living daylights out of you to see another face. Gee, now I scared myself and will be afraid to try it again.

Oh I would love a nice bloody steak now. Have to wait till son comes for the holidays, he doesn't "do" fast food places. We have a "Texas Roadhouse" here that he and my brother hate because it's so noisy. But my son will take me once.

I always say "Look around, everyone is smiling and having a good time." The folks don't look all stuffy and "holier than thou," like the fancy restaurants.

Texas Roadhouse is really loud and crowded, tables kinda close together, and some of them are really dark or slightly dirty cause of the peanuts (thankfully not ours though) BUT, I loveeee it, delicious and cheap and I can't get enough of the cinnamon butter LOL that place is amazing lol and you are right, they are all happy, which is good. I love Chili's too but Texas Roadhouse is just so delicious lol thought I must say the bread and cinnamon butter is my favorite part love Cracker Barrel too

@drumstick diva , I did not 'jump' off the chicken house roof. I attempted to fly off of said roof. I feel there is a significant difference here.

Kdogg I didn't know they had more Texas Roadhouses. Neat. Glad you enjoy them like I do. The cinnamon butter is to die for. Love the rolls and their corn. Didja sign up for their emails? They were giving a free sidekick of ribs when it was my Birthday.

I scarf down the rolls, so when the waiter comes back I ask for more - then take them with my doggy bag. Their baked potatoes are great too. You really get big portions when you eat there.

Sour don't get hung up on it - slight difference between jumping, flying, falling, getting pushed, those sort of things.

G'morning cafe

I woke thinking about a situation at the boys school and I can't let it go. So, I'm making an appointment for next week.

That's the only reason I'm up and there's coffee already. I put on a second pot, I've been up for a while, and there's hot water.
