Thanks, i had really bad swelling last night under my eyes. I ate some salty soup and the swelling went down quite a bit. I kept waking up last night, didn't take a sleeping pill because i needed to wake up for my trip. No pain pills today, since i am driving. But it is not too bad so far.

Yes. We put a contract on it but the inspection turned up a couple things that worried us. The sellers had until 5pm yesterday to address the concerns. They didn't get back with us until 7 minutes prior to the contract expiring and they only addressed one concern. So we had to extend the contract for another 24 hours to get that 2nd answer. One way or another, by 5pm tonight, we'll know if we're getting the house or not.

Oh man, all the hurry up & wait, the paperwork, the phone calls, it's wearing me out. Buying a house is no fun, no fun at all.

I haven't checked out the friendliness part...the chickens will stay here because DH will be splitting his time between here and the house in Casper. When he can't be here, his assistant will take care of them (he's done it before).

Our main goal in getting this house is to fix it up and sell it so we don't plan on this being a long-time, forever kind of place. More an opportunity to make some money. That's the plan anyway.

A lot of plans are hinging on what we hear by 5pm today.

It's only a bit over 2 hours from here and my job is seasonal so I have winters off.

Besides, where ever a person lives in Wyoming is a good ways to some place else

From where you are, just about everything is north!

Actually, we thought about AZ, we both like the northern part (around Williams). But DH needs to keep this job for a while. Eventually, we want to end up in Cody, that's a great small town (and chicken friendly).
