BYC Café

Lonestar I think was the name of our first steakhouse and we used to go there often. They had the dark brown pumpernickel bread - to die for. If it was your birthday you'd get a cupcake with a candle in it and the servers would sing their kind of birthday song. Embarassing but fun. Had many memorable meals there.

When my best friend for 23 years passed away . I stopped crying long enough to remember what he said. When he felt good he always said "I feel like a bloody steak and baked potato.(and a cigar) He got asked to put the cigar out many times & did. That was before the no smoking in public places era.

So I walked to the steakhouse by myself and ordered that and thought about him doing the same thing. It was very comforting but, I still miss him.

That sounds delicious. And lots of places here sing for birthdays. We usually don't tell them lol so embarrassing. But fun when I was little lol and aw that is sweet about your friend but I am sorry he passed :(

We had them in KS and FL too.

According to their website, they have over 400 locations in 49 states. So a pretty big chain.

Wow that is a big chain!!

We had a Texas Roadhouse in CA before we moved, they are also in AZ.

They are apparently all over
