Um, so how is everyone? Surviving winter/the new year so far?

Pretty good! Finished work at the end of December. Now I'm just very very pregnant lol

Had two hatches of chicks this summer (one a surprise). And built a new coop which is almost done and they've moved in, but won't be making more changes till spring.

Spent a lot of December being sick though; I hope everyone has been in good health lately. Fall and winter tend to bring out the illnesses in full force.

Well my son came for 2.5 weeks and showed me a wonderful time - first time he didn't get me crying. He wants me to move out by him - a million miles away. But I have lived in the same home for almost 50 years and it's a part of me. We both need remodeling, but, not gonna happen on my budget.

Gutter blew down last year, I'm in the midst of a late season molt & so it goes. But, I know how to get everywhere important. I have free bus service (erratic). Selling a home/ moving is among the most traumatic events in a life.

My parents just moved out near me! But it was good timing for them; though I know they'll miss their old property. They won't miss the 5hr+ drive to see the grandkids (and we won't miss that drive either!)

And yes, just a couple more weeks of cooking. But I've got lots to do, so I'd love to have the rest of this month.
