Just came in from the 'chill' and needed some coffee. Fresh pot is brewed. We've been really lucky weather wise this winter so far - one 'unexpected' storm in Nov. Tonight that changes and a second hit Sat. night into Sun. with plummeting temperatures. I'll be snuggling down in the house.

I could make you some dinner. I've got some local pork steaks here, and mashed potatoes with cheese and proper butter. I've even got some Brussels sprouts; hard to get here.

That Besse post you mentioned is about a breed of chicken found in France. There is an American version that tries to follow the same diet and keeping regime, but it's a bit like calling any white sparkling wine champagne.

My roo is a Bresse/nn mix. Love that dude but I'm not feeding him milk soaked grain!

I've heard Dorkings make a wonderful meal though.

IT would also be great if folks on all posts, threads would please give an emoji sign if they are KIDDING!. If you are kidding it's usually apparent -person to person. Even on the phone you can tell by how something is said. But computers aren't easy to read. Thank you all muchly. any of these would work.
