Can't really do modern pop. I don't know if it's any better or worse then the pop when I was young. I think you need to be of the generation to appreciate it.

I agree. The pop music when I was young wasn't bad but I liked rock more.

What kind of music do you like Shad?

That's a hard question to answer.
Some people split music into genres and prefer one to another. I'm never quite sure which music belongs in which genre.:idunno
I take the easy way out. I have two genres, music I like and music I don't.:p
I've been a music fan most of my life. I have a problem though; I'm also a Hi Fi enthusiast and builder. I've got a bit snobby over the years and some music is so badly produced and recorded, for me it spoils the listening experience.
I like classical music but I can't listen to it on a stereo system; there is just something missing.
I have a bit of a collection; 2460 albums at last count. I also have about 80 singles.
I've found that my taste changed with age, maybe. and of course the mood I'm in.
At the moment I find I'm listening to a lot of early Funk music and some of the less well known progressive rock I have.
Last night I played:
Funkadelic.
Tower of Power.
Alan Parsons.
Blodwyn Pig.
The Cardigans.
Glodfrapp.
:)

Never had the eye-hand co- ordination for video games. But can eat ice cream bars, cones etc. without losing a drop. My son is not good with ice cream cones- I guess that gene didn't come through.

I understand that :) I'm unsure about music classification sometimes too :idunno

I love Alan Parsons, and I've heard the Cardigans. Haven't heard the others but I'll have a listen online.

I know what you mean by poorly produced. MP3 leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to listening. We have a stereo, but it's got an eq and hubs is great at setting it up perfectly. Hi Fi, man I haven't seen one of those in person since my kids were little and my folks had one. My dad used to play albums on it, I loved hearing Roy Orbison on that thing.

One of my favorite Cardigans tracks.

Good morning cafe :frow

I've been up since the wee hours, darn headache got me up. Drugs helped this morning so that's good, but I drank all of Shads coffee. I did make a fresh pot for everone though.

It's Wednesday, no little doods tonight. I'm ready for a relaxing evening. There's even leftovers so I don't have to cook.

Make it a good day everyone, the weekend is almost here :woot

Morning IM,
Sorry to hear your still suffering the headaches.:hugs
The last few days we've had high mold count....that's the only thing that's close to a migraine headache for me...and I've been hammered with sinus headaches for 2 days. Hopefully, they will clear out in another day or two. :fl
