Early this morning I posted the weird "dream" that woke me up in the middle of the night, Post #39068 of 39094

Couldn't shake that strange feeling so I went out to look around the garage, coop/run, etc. Take a look at these fresh tracks I just found

That's a 3"x3" note pad next to them to give some sense of scale.

Looks like a raccoon, right?

Sure does

Made an afternoon pot if anyone is interested.

@DobieLover, hope all of that comes to fruition.

@N F C, if you ever have a bad dream about me, don't let me know.

I know! I'm still feeling a little freaked out by the dream turning into fact thing. Now if I could only dream about the lottery numbers!

Thanks for the fresh coffee :D

Thanks for the coffee, Sour. I'll take a small thermos for the drive home.

My other half, Dave, was participating in a clinical trial for an AD drug. Hence my frequent road trips. The trial site is a 1.5 hour drive away. We received notice from the clinic that the company is aborting the trial. The drug wasn't working.
I didn't really think it was helping as Dave continues to very slowly decline. But I was still disappointed about the termination.
HOWEVER, I read about an even more promising drug called COR388. The company that developed it, Cortexyme, if going into it's Phase 2 trial and will start recruiting April 1.
But they haven't announced trial locations. So I mentioned my desire for Dave to enter this new CT to Dave's neurologist, Dr. C, and Dr. C said he's already been contacted by Cortexyme to be a trial site!!!!!
Dave is a qualified candidate so will be called in just as soon as possible to enroll in that trial! I could not possibly be more excited for him! :wee
This is a such a huge deal for us.

I hope I'm not being too intrusive Tonya but what does AD stand for?

Alzheimer's Disease.
His was early onset. He was showing symptoms at 58. Didn't get diagnosed until he was 63 and on the borderline between mild and moderate. He is 65 now.
His father died from it and an older sister has it as well.

Oh my gosh, so sorry to hear that. I sincerely hope the new drug helps. Great news that he'll be in the clinical trials!

Debby, that dream was a warning...better make sure the coop is predator proof....and if you do have one about lottery numbers, I hope you'll share that dream as well! :lau

I think the girls are secure (probably as much as any of us can be) :fl

And of course I'll share a lottery dream with you all!
