Hi cafe

Yesterday was complete chaos. Work was insanely busy all day and I had coop chores I was trying to get done at breaks and lunch. I still had a few things to do after work and when I went outside our neighbor was on his roof. Every once in a while I would see him dodge a ball while we chatted. They have two boys close in age to our boys and I could hear them giggling.

I went to do my chores and I could hear them laughing out there and taunting each other. Then I heard a string of cuss words and two little voices screaming and then a crash and a thud. Yup, neighbor fell off the roof, he was breathing but unconscious and bleeding. The kids were screaming. Their dog was going nuts when I went to help because they've had her a week and she doesn't know me yet. The wife was at work and her commute is 35 miles one way.

I sent her husband to hospital in an ambulance, fed her dog and brought her boys to my house until her mom could pick them up. By the time grandma arrived they were calm, having grilled cheese sandwiches and tots while we watched funny youtube videos.

When that was over i took a shower and came to byc to say hello but I heard from the neighbor by phone then and after that I just went to bed.

The husband is ok, pretty good concussion and in the hospital overnight. Nothing broken but he has a nasty gash on his head from a nail or something that he had to have stapled. He says the scar is going to make him look badass it's like 2 inches long. He's such a goof and they're a nice couple, I'm glad he's alright.

So, happy Friday Eve everyone! I hope it's a great day for you. It's a great day for me, it's FRIDAY .I am off tomorrow except for two hours in the morning and don't go back until next Tuesday plus, we pick up quail eggs Saturday

My friend lives up in the Berkeley mountains by San Francisco. The fog up there gets thick & when its windy it blows past in thick curtains. Its the freakiest thing I've ever seen, like being in scary movie.

I have watched that fog blow over into vacaville and towards us in Davis\Woodland. It is freaky to see

Good morning Café, and thanks Shad. Starting really slow today. Yesterday tired me out, and I am not certain why.

Ok, ok, I guess I'll do stuff today too. But only after I have more of that excellent coffee.

There is always 'stuff' to do. It's all about setting priorities.

IM and that is why I am not allowed on the roof when the Princess is not home.
