On a positive note, I know that spring is on its way. The male redwing blackbirds arrived at my feeders today, and the male cardinals started singing last week. :celebrate
That's been going on since the middle of January here....but were getting a freeze here tonight and for the next 3 nights, my peach and orange trees are going to get 'hurt' hard.
ETA - when the Cardinals start singing their 'spring' song, that's when you know it's spring in Texas.

And I saw a cardinal last week but I don’t think cardinals leave for the winter, right? I thought I read that somewhere a while ago. And he didn’t sing.

And we have had robins since like January or possibly earlier. Poor things. Keeps warming up pretty warm and no snow or snow melting and we didn’t have any for a while and then now lately it keeps snowing and then melting and then snowing again. Confusing weather for sure.

Okay, flight out tomorrow has already been canceled. We are now rescheduled for early Tuesday morning. Will be going to an airport hotel tomorrow afternoon. If new flight is cancelled/rescheduled we will just hang out.
Can't 'like' that sour. Is your connecting fight at DFW or LAX?

Oh no Sour! That's a shame about leaving tomorrow. Hope you guys can get out on Tuesday ok.

Ya know, Debby, it's not all that bad. Roads will be in good shape when we leave, and new flights get us in to Hawaii at a better time. We just lose a day if all goes as planned, and if not we will adapt. We went to Hawaii for our 20th and it rained 12 of the 14 days. We had a blast. Many things are what you make of them.

You know it! I was worried you all were disappointed. But everything happens for a reason.
