I sure hope so. (easy to clean, not frozen birds) I put a fresh layer of shavings down before this last storm, so fingers crossed on that. I really need to downsize my herd out there. The non-keeper roos are big enough to process. I just need a non-windy day- must have, above freezing- preferable, definitely sunny would be nice. I don't think I am being too picky here.......

I think being able to feel the difference between bird and fingers would be a good thing when one is processing.
I also think that Margie is being reasonable, maybe not realistic, but very reasonable!
As someone who has helped with processing birds and high speed government beef. I know that FEELING the difference is very important, (at least to me) when it is below freezing or even close to it.
