She didn't, and for my German, logical, unemotional mother that was mind boggling. The wren raised her brood there, and then my mother threw the clothes pins and bag away.

Sigh. Didn't sell a single thing. But i bought 6 silkies. And i got 5 ducks for my friend who was looking for some.

I sold really well last swap. And i had only hatching eggs and male chickens for sale.

Isn't it someone in this thread who used to go camping where there was a huge ladybug colony but something was happening to destroy them?

Yes! The most acerage fire in California History burnt up the area where we go each spring to get lady bugs. We will go there this year to see how bad it is, if we can get there still even.

It is the south fork of Stony Creek in the Mendocino National Forrest. The trail is called the Deffy Glade trail.
