Thank you! DS can’t make it down from college so Mom, Dad And DB are headed to the funeral tomorrow. I sent a big flower arrangement. They understand that someone has to stay with the animals. No neighbors that don’t have animals around unfortunately.

Just read some news that made me think of a member here. It seems there was a police officer shot and wounded during a traffic stop in Abbeville La. Wasn't there an Abbeville Oz who used to frequent here or perhaps another thread?

abbevilleoz is from SC. He is one of the good guys, and sadly has been inactive here for over a year.

Abbeville is a really neat little town, lots of antique shops,etc. Also a huge convent and monastery campus.

On a different note, there are about 5 states with an Abbeville, the one in Alabama is pretty close.
