Aww, I know you will miss them! But you get to go back to being the fun gramma that they hang out with on weekends! Much more fun than arguing about chores and homework.

I lived right across the street from the jr high when I was in Mesa! About 2 blocks from the mormon temple.

They never really left, been living here their whole lives so this is a welcome change.

Rapidly approaching 78 years old, probably 50 % of my waking hours have been spent outdoors, and I have never found a hummingbird nest.

This was by luck Sour. I happened to see her land on the nest while I was sitting in the car. We don't use the front door so not much traffic in the spot she decided to nest in.

We will be hoping for the very best outcome for Skittles. I have a very good feeling about the surgery and your veterinarian and his team, and feel like their awareness of his heart issue will determine how they approach his anesthesia

Okay, so what's the update on Skittles? Have been waiting to see what you learned when you called!

Kind of just chillin' on the computer today keeping track of everyone, my hubs got a tummy bug (probably from his lunch Saturday when he went to Montgomery with his brother ) so I've been looking after him since yesterday not able to leave and do my errands.

So I rescued a nice sized yellow bellied slider today! I was on my way to Walmart when I seen it on the road so I stopped and got out (along with a tape measure because science!) and moved it in the direction it was going. 9 3/4 inches! Such a big boy! Probably weighed 5lbs.
