BYC Café

So I am going to share an ancient joke that is popular with my family (It was one of my Great-Grandpa Whites, favorites)
I was walking along in the pasture one day hunting. I came up on one of the Bulls. He started to paw at the ground and come at me. So I started to run to an old Oak tree.
The lowest branch was about 20 feet up. I missed the branch on the way up, but caught it just fine on the way back down.
As I was sitting there watching this Bull pace and push on the tree, I realized that there was a Mountain Lion on the branch above me. I had my rifle, but only one bullet left, so I had to decide which animal I was going to shoot.
I decided to shoot the cat, I figured I could shoot the Bull anyday!

LOL, good one

I worked too hard to get cold today. Pressure washing doesn't seem like that much work until you stop. Then you realize how much work it was and you can't get started again.
But now typing is a lot of work.
I have a cup of tea here, but I think I need a straw.
I got the inside of the fence done, the tree house done and 1/2 of the front of the house done.
Tomorrow i will do my paint patches so While I am staining the fence I will have plenty of time to look at them and decide if I like them or not.
I still think a glow in the dark house would be awesome.

Didn't you get any glow'n dark paint to show DH just how nice it will look?
I like the idea!!

I think it is too expensive for more than a little trim work.
I might do the mail box.
OR,,, If I can paint flying saucers on the wall that'd be alright.
It is over a dollar an ounce.

Eggsy, when we were building our camp, we were a couple sheets of plywood short on the roof/ceiling, so we used a couple of sheets that my husband had scavenged from his work. There were stars painted on the wood. The first night after that, we discovered the paint was glow-in-the-dark, so we watched the stars for a while before we got the ceiling finished! :)

Somehow, I don't think that's what most people mean by "sleeping under the stars."
My Fav. #3 DD did up her ceiling with glow'n dark stars many years ago. My Fav. #1 Grandson is now sleeping in that room, and he likes the 'sleeping under the stars' effect.
