Morning Cafe

Thanks for the coffee, Shad....Yawn..uhh... erm, got any ibuprofen to go with it?

Debby you must be a psychic...back in the day, I use to drink Wild Turkey 101. The bar I use to frequent had a chandelier....everyone use to say I was a 'wild turkey' after a night of drinking and that I would roost in the chandelier! :gig

Tonya - looking forward to seeing the finished coop/run. Been looking good so far. :thumbsup

Shad don't you know how the old biddies fight when the men folk aren't around? :lau

WEATHER ALERT: this just in
TORNADO WARNING UNTIL 9:00am
Ughh

Everyone make it a great day! :celebrate

See? Everyone has heard about your affinity for chandeliers :gig

Oh no, not a tornado warning! Do you have a safe place to hunker down in until the all clear? No messing around, be safe.

Good morning Cafe.

It seems the garden got planted, replanted, then planted again. Dh had already tilled, and made the rows. Yesterday, he was going to plant all the seeds. His best helper, the 3 year old, was right with him. He planted, she watched. He even let her hand him some of the seed, and help cover them up when planted. It went well, until he noticed his helper was in another part of the garden. She had been digging up all the seeds, and replanting them in another row, in another section of the garden. Of course, she was not digging up the same kind of seeds, and planting the row. She would dig here there, and yonder, getting whatever seed was there, then replanting. He went behind her, trying to sort the seeds, and plant them back in the corresponding row. Um, the 3 year old is a LOT faster than he is, so it's going to be an interesting garden this year.

:gig Yep, an interesting garden coming right up! Bet the 3yo had a great time 'helping'.

Oh, she was happy as a clam. Grandpa announced the garden was planted, and she chimed in that she planted seeds too. She was so happy, and pleased with herself. I don't care that the peas won't be consecutive in their rows, or that flowers are growing in between the pea vines. The happiness gushing forth, the sense of having done something great, and the smile on her face are well worth me having an unusual garden this year.

Absolutely! And think of the smile when she gets to pick "her" flowers and vegetables :D
